1003 Low Fire Clay - U/C Grogged Red Earthenware Clay

Code 1003 U/C Grogged Red Earthenware Clay. A highly plastic blend of red marls. This body has a good colour and a high-fired strength. Fires 1060-1160°C , but with the addition of 30% sand. Great for hand building, garden pots, sculpture etc. 

Shrinkage rate at 1100oC - 14.4%
