Code 1022 Oxidising St Thomas Stoneware Clay. Extremely popular general purpose mid/high fire clay body, speckling very attractively under normal or slightly reducing conditions. Excellent resilience and tolerance. Good warp and crack resistance. Throws and slabs well.
Recommended firing range 1150-1280C / Cone 3 to 10
Indicative texture 4-5 (Smooth 1-Coarse 10).
