High Fire Clay - U/C Crank Stoneware Clay

Code 1033 U/C Crank Stoneware Clay. This body has a high proportion of heavy grog (20/30) making it ideal for large scale work whilst retaining good throwing properties. Fires to a warm tan colour in reduction cooler oxidising. Its low shrinkage and resistance to thermal shock make it ideal for raku. 1150-1280°C
